Master Artist Workshop: Masu Box Progression | 3.18
The Masu box is one of the most basic (and awesome) units of origami, and can be morphed into a myriad of structures. We'll start by making a selection of boxes, lids, and inserts and then we'll flatten the boxes and use them as sections in a 4-needle Coptic binding; as containers in the Chinese Sewing Box book by Hedi Kyle; and as a three-dimensional Jacob's Ladder variation. All of these structures will be able to house low-relief objects, prints, drawings, text, instructions, poems, and so on. Supply fee: $20 Prerequisite: None
Erin will give a special lecture on Sunday 3/19 at 6:30 in the Draw/Paint studio. FREE and open to the public.
