Pratt Fine Arts Center is proud to announce the recipients of the 2013 Artist in Residence Program focusing on Printmaking are Piper O’Neill and Chris Crites. Both artists will be working in Pratt’s studios this summer from May through July 2013. Each will teach a workshop and give a Master Artist Lecture. The Artist in Residence Program is a competitive process that affords artists with the opportunity to take advantage of our specialized studios, along with access to experienced assistants to help them explore the potential of new materials and processes, through a month-long residency. Description: The Customer Service Manager is responsible for providing a functional and positive public interface as well as maintaining an organized and productive core for internal operations. The Customer Service Manager reports directly to the Operations Manager, but also works closely with the Director of Programs and the Studio Managers to provide student services, support the studio rental program, and provide support for a variety of administrative efforts. The Customer Service Manager typically staffs the front desk during normal business hours and hires/trains/manages a team of 3-5 employees to cover evening and weekend hours (scheduling flexibility is often required). A limited amount of tuition assistance is available throughout the year to adults and youth who otherwise cannot afford to participate in Pratt’s programs. This award will give the recipient credit towards classes or workshops. If awarded, Tuition Assistance will cover 50% or 75% of the specified class. Tuition Assistance is only applicable to the class requested and is only applied to tuition. Participants will be responsible for supply fees and materials associated with their chosen class. Jamroski joins Pratt with over 20 years experience as a development professional for grassroots and international organizations, most recently she spent seven years as Major Gifts Officer for Seattle University.
