Our Art Parties are designed to accommodate as few as 5 people to as many as 30, but we can tailor events for groups as large as 150.

Glass Beadmaking

Suitable for groups of up to 8 participants

Standard 4 hour workshop

 

Work with a table-top torch and sculpt your own beads and ornaments in colorful glass. Your instructor will show you special techniques to help you along the way. Beadmaking is a fantastic option for any group that likes to socialize.

 

 

Glass Fusing

Suitable for groups of up to 10 participants

Standard 4 hour workshop

 

Glass fusing provides an open, engaging atmosphere for your group. Cut and stack colored glass your own composition or work together in a team to create a collaborative project. Your completed designs will be fused in our kilns resulting in decorative and functional glass tiles.

 

 

Hot Casting

Suitable for groups of up to 15 participants

Standard 4 hour workshop

 

Casting hot glass is all about teamwork!  Working in pairs, ladle molten glass into personalized sand molds to create solid glass sculptures. This workshop combines the excitement of working with 2,000 degree heat (no joking) with cooperative creation.

 

 

Glassblowing

Suitable for groups of up to 20 participants

Standard 4 hour workshop

 

Enjoy a truly unique Northwest experience in our state-of-the-art glassblowing studio. Watch professional glassblowers create a piece for your group to keep before each participant designs a color palette and blows their own paperweight, float or ornament – with assistance of course.

 

 

Blacksmithing

Suitable for groups of up to 15 participants

Standard 4 hour workshop

 

Blacksmiths have been forging functional and decorative objects for centuries. Now it’s your turn to hammer, twist, and bend hot steel into decorative garden stakes and coat hooks by using an anvil.

 

 

 

Screenprinting

Best suited for groups of up to 30 participants, can accommodate as many as 80 participants

Print on paper, tote bags, aprons, and t-shirts in our inviting and spacious Print Studio! You can provide your own images or company logo or use our set of designs (everything from cute to sophisticated imagery) to create works of art and function.

 

 

Encaustic Painting

Suitable for groups of up to 10 participants

Standard 4 hour workshop

 

Explore the versatile field of encaustic painting by working with hot wax, pigment, and an exciting variety of objects and materials. Explore the techniques of stamping, tissue transfer, photocopy transfer and the use of fabric and collage on paper and wood panels.

 

 

Letterpress Printing

Suitable for groups of up to 8 participants

4 hour workshop recommended

 

Step back in time and use a hand-operated press to create your own greeting cards, bookmarks, and prints. In this workshop you set type by hand, learn to lock-up, ink up and print in the elegant style of old.
