Dear Donating Artists,

We are sad to report that for the first time in 38 consecutive years, Pratt will not have an art auction this year. The COVID-19 crisis escalated just weeks before our original event date and the prospect of rescheduling is uncertain, uneasy, and ultimately untenable at this time. We simply cannot justify such a large expenditure of resources when we don’t feel confident that the event would be both safe and successful.

You have 3 different options for what you would like Pratt to do with your art. If you have donated to this year’s auction, it’s extremely important that you complete this survey to choose an option on what to do with your donated art by Friday, April 10.

We have decided to funnel our resources and efforts into an innovative new campaign that will include multiple initiatives including an online art sale and a virtual gala of sorts, among other fundraising efforts.

We are going to have an online art sale in May/June to benefit Pratt and you, the artists. You can choose to opt in or out of this online sale. For questions please contact Natalie Miller at

We extend our sincere thanks to you all for your donation and understanding at this time. We want to keep Pratt stable so that our community may use it as an outlet and resource for our recovery when this is all over. We also want to support you, the artists, during this trying time. We hope that you and yours all are staying safe and healthy.
