Dear Pratt Community,

We are thrilled to have working artists back in the studios and youth & teens returning for hybrid and in-person classes this summer! Moving forward, it is our intention to continue expanding in-person activities and rebuilding our programs to make art accessible to everyone once again. As such, in-person adult classes are currently scheduled to resume this September. We will continue to offer a limited selection of online classes for those who may prefer to learn from their own spaces.

In light of recent changes to public health guidance and local restrictions, we are updating our mask & vaccination policy accordingly, as follows:

PRATT MASK & VACCINATION POLICY (effective immediately)

At Pratt, no one gets COVID. That’s our goal.

Vaccination Policy

Public health experts tell us that vaccination is the best way to prevent the contraction and spread of COVID-19. Therefore, Pratt recommends vaccination for all employees and visitors.

Mask Policy

At Pratt, we continue to promote a mask-positive environment that recognizes the many reasons why our constituents may want or need to wear masks to protect themselves and their communities. At the same time, we continue to follow guidance from public health experts and therefore now offer the option for fully vaccinated persons to move about campus without a mask.

· All Pratt employees are required to show proof of vaccination before working maskless on campus. Acceptable types of verification include:

o Vaccine card or photo of vaccine card

o Documentation from a health care provider

o State immunization information system record

o A hard copy or electronically signed self-attestation from the employee

· All Pratt visitors, students and studio access users are asked to self-identify and comply with the following:

o Masks are required for those who are not fully vaccinated and encouraged for those wish to wear them for any other circumstance

o Masks are optional for those who are fully vaccinated

Mask or no mask, we ask that all visitors continue to practice social distancing and respect the personal space of others.

We remain hopeful that conditions will continue to improve but will respond accordingly should public health guidance change for any reason. Thank you for your patience and compliance with our evolving protocols!

All the best,

Steve Galatro
