Jeanne Marie Ferraro received her BFA from Kent State University and her MFA from Rochester Institute of Technology. Jeanne studied painting for 3 years at the School of Art Institute Chicago (SAIC). Presently, Jeanne teaches sculpture at the Northwest School, Figure Drawing and Glassblowing at Pratt Fine Art Center for both youth and adult courses, Drawing Fundamentals at the Kirkland Art Center, and Figure Sculpture, privately at her studio. She has been teaching Art for over 20 years and has been a member of Pratt since 1994. Her work has been show internationally as well as locally at Traver Gallery. Jeanne’s own work ranges in material from glass to bronze. The goal of her work is to honor humans through the portrait, created in a wide variety of materials.
