Born and raised in Albuquerque New Mexico, and a resident in the Seattle area since 2000 Scott McCall is a fine artist, arts educator, and owner of graphic design firm Spruce Studio LLC. Scott earned a Bachelors degree in Visual Communications with Double Majors in Graphic Design and Fine Art from Northwest College of Art and later studied in the Atelier of Juliette Aristides at Gage Academy of Art. Scott has won awards for his work including the Winokur Scholarship, Susan Manzo Estate Scholarship, and Puget sound Group of Northwest Painters Scholarship. Additionally, Scott received a third place award from guest juror Beth Sellars at the 2013 Best of Gage Annual Exhibition, as well as an Honorable Mention from guest juror Patti Warashina at the 7th Annual Spitting Image Self-Portrait Competition.
