Printmaking and related works on paper are the foundation for much of what I do.
My work often explores place and context. How objects, found gestures, and visual cues modify, enhance, and/or divert meanings help shape my studio practice. The tools we use to process information and the moments of our understandings form a significant part of my visual vocabulary.
I was born in Cagayan de Oro City on the island of Mindanao in the Philippines. My family came to to Seattle in 1978.
