Pratt is bringing the beloved Holiday Art Sale back! Through a new, Pratt-hosted, multi-seller platform, artists can sell their own works, wares, and holiday gifts with unlimited inventory and a slick shopper interface. The sale will be a great way for artists to increase sales and for shoppers to buy local NW art this holiday season.

WHAT TO EXPECT: 
 
If you've sold online before using your own site, or any multi-seller platform, this will be a breeze. If not, please don’t be discouraged to start! We are here to support you through this process. We are primarily hosting this sale as a way to support our amazing artist community during this holiday season. We want to feature your work, bring you income, and help you build the skillset necessary to sell your work online in the future.

Artist responsibility: As the vendor, you will be responsible for managing your inventory from listing your works and wares to fulfillment and shipping/delivery/pickup.

  • As the seller, you will retain 70% of each sale, Pratt will take a 30% commission
  • You will have your own log-in and backend portal where you will manage your inventory: upload photos, write descriptions, price your work, manage orders, print shipping labels
  • You will be responsible for getting your work to the buyer. That means a combination of shipping, delivery, and/or local pickup in a timely manner. *Buyers will be paying for shipping and sales taxes

Pratt responsibility: Pratt is here to support you! We'll market and host the sale, and be here behind the scenes to make sure you have the tools and support for success.

  • We will host the website marketplace that sells your wares
  • Provide you a full toolkit in order to succeed in selling your products/art online, including: YouTube video tutorials, instructional documents, Zoom presentations, help photographing your work (if needed), and one-on-one support as needed
  • We are responsible for marketing the sale. We will be making lots of posts, emails, and other promotions in order to make sure this sale is a success


Timeline: 

Friday, 9/25 – deadline to apply to be a seller
Friday, 10/2 – notifications go out for inclusion in Holiday Art Sale
Monday, 10/5 – Sunday, 11/22  – onboarding & support, Zoom presentations, time to build your inventory, photography sessions
Monday, 11/23 – Friday, 12/18 – Online Holiday Art Sale is LIVE!
